I served as Creative Project Manager for the Kenai Smokehouse section of the Empire Foods Inc. brand launch campaign. Print Production
For Kenai Smokehouse’s packaging, I really wanted the products to have a little extra spark to jump off the shelf and catch people’s attention. To that end, I experimented with Roland’s Metallic Spot Colors to mimic the flash of Salmon scales in the pewter gray, a rich gold to convey quality, and crimson red to stimulate buyer response.
While the pictures don’t do it justice, the client loved the result.
Banners
As Kenai Smokehouse was intending to launch its new branding at a trade show, I developed two different vertical hanging banners; one optimized to hang from the ceiling, the other better suited to a floor-level display on a stand. The designs are shown here in a mockup as we only printed a physical version of the bear banner to show the client.
